CRTS, LLC takes part in the methodological meeting for air navigation services provision to sum up the work in the autumn-winter period 2018-2019 and develop safety measures for air traffic control in the spring-summer period of 2019. The event is organised by the "Federal State Unitary Enterprise" State ATM Corporation" and holding on April, 16 - 18 in Yekaterinburg.
During the meeting, it is planned to highlight the issues of technical operation of the "Almanac" MLAT/WAM integrated system, the procedure for conducting work on the creation of the wide area multilateration network, as well as to summarize the experience in ensuring air traffic safety.
The introduction of the "Almanac" MLAT/WAM integrated system, developed by CRTS, began in Russia in 2017. In 2018, two airports at once (in St. Petersburg and Mineralnye Vody) became the first points of digital multi-sensor monitoring systems were implemented in. On the basis of automatic dependent monitoring and broadcasting stations (ADS-B 1090ES), CRTS has also created the world's widest WAM surveillance field with an area of about 1 million square kilometers in the North West of Russia. Until the end of 2019, 9 large Russian airports are to be equipped with the "Almanac" system, Novosibirsk, Kaliningrad, Samara, Kazan and Yekaterinburg amongst them.
